Inspiration

Henri Cartier Bresson (1908-2004) was a famous French photographer who was considered a master of candid photography. He viewed photography as capturing "a decisive moment." Although all of my images in my gallery do not emulate his style of photography, he inspired me to go out and take photos in real time and understand the true meaning behind taking candid photos. I believe when the subject is unaware they are being photographed it will have more meaning and have a more authentic and affectionate feel.
